Bone Daddy’s BBQ, Midland, MI

如果按照咱们中国人的标准来看的话,这家位于密西根中部的Bone Daddy’s BBQ就是一家不折不扣的苍蝇馆子。所谓苍蝇馆子,就是指店面特别小价格不贵的但是味道又好的小馆子,并不是真的有苍蝇哦!O(∩_∩)O~

很早以前老公就去吃过好几次了,我没去过,后来在报纸上看到他家杯评为密西根十大最佳BBQ店,位列第五,就跟着老公去吃了一顿。

Day 2 was one of our best days, and that's because we finished the trip at Bone Daddy's. Owner Bill Wall II pulled out all the stops, taking on a tour of his award-winning pits and showing off all his trophies. Wall took the top prize in the Best of the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off in Reno. Obviously, all the attention is warranted. Billy learned the art of BBQ from his dad, Bone Daddy. Everything is carefully produced; the ribs will get you. But I loved the pulled pork and barbecue chicken. Just sample some of that bark!

 

店面环境非常一般,爱看foodnetwork频道Diners Drive-Ins and Dives 的童鞋可以想象出来,就是节目最常见的那种普普通通的小店面,一进门口,就是好几尊大奖杯,可惜当时饿了,所以我忘记拍啦!

我点了个三拼,除了烤排骨之外,有pulled pork, beef brisket或者鸡肉可选,选了前两样。

菜上的挺快的,没等多久就端上来了

Beef brisket 做的很好很嫩也很juicy,吃起来完全不柴,而且有比较重的烟熏味,这一点我很喜欢。

Pulled pork也还可以,味道也不错,有点太甜了,吃到后来容易腻。

排骨做的很好吃,完全脱骨,但是又嫩嫩的,很香很软,很赞!美中不足也是有点太甜了,我想估计来自苏州无锡一带的童鞋们会很爱吃吧 O(∩_∩)O~

点大盘烤肉的话,都会附送一小碗smokehouse beans, 小菜coleslaw和一个玉米面小蛋糕。还给了洋葱圈。

Smokehouse beans也很不错,炖的够软够香,而且smoke味也很浓。也是偏甜口味,我只吃了两口,太甜了。

洋葱圈和玉米面小蛋糕算正常水平,没有惊艳,也不难吃。O(∩_∩)O~

老公爱吃pulled pork三明治

肉的分量挺实在,肉很香很juicy,味道也很赞。仍然是有点偏甜。

总体来说,这家店还算不错的,店面环境和服务都比较一般,单说食物味道的话,除了偏甜,真是挺好吃的。中午经常爆满,据说烤鸡什么的也很好吃,下次再来试试看 O(∩_∩)O~
